Cookie Policy
Effective September 1, 2026. This policy explains the cookies and similar browser technologies used by the current Billions+ website, dashboard, and related applications.
It should be read with the Billions+ Privacy Statement. Terms used there have the same meaning here unless this policy says otherwise.
What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. Session cookies normally disappear when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their configured expiry or until you remove them.
Billions+ also uses local storage and session storage. Local storage can keep a preference or recovery value after the browser closes; session storage normally lasts only for the current browser tab. These technologies do not automatically send data elsewhere, but the application can read their values when needed.
Technologies Billions+ Uses
Billions+ uses first-party technologies that are necessary to authenticate users, protect account and connection flows, keep a browser on a compatible application release, remember requested interface settings, and recover an unfinished draft or billing action.
The public portfolio does not require an advertising-cookie consent banner because the current Billions+ applications do not set optional advertising or marketing cookies. If that practice changes, this policy and any legally required choice mechanism will be updated before those technologies are enabled.
Authentication and Security Cookies
The signed HTTP-only auth_token cookie maintains a business-user session for up to 24 hours, or up to seven days when the user chooses to be remembered. Authorized internal administration uses a separate signed HTTP-only admin_token cookie for up to 24 hours.
Short-lived social_oauth and social_merge cookies protect sign-in, account connection, and account-merge redirects. Short-lived messenger_oauth and messenger_oauth_sess cookies protect the enabled Messenger connection flow and hold state needed to finish that requested connection. These OAuth cookies expire after about ten minutes and are removed when the flow ends.
Where multiple compatible application releases are temporarily available during deployment, the infrastructure may set the HTTP-only billions_release cookie so consecutive requests reach a compatible release. It does not identify an account and normally lasts for the browser session.
Functional Browser Storage
Billions+ local storage can remember the active business, collapsed-navigation state, light or dark theme, an unsaved AI knowledge draft, and the reference needed to restore an unfinished billing intent. These values stay on the device until the related action clears them, the application replaces them, or the user clears site data.
The billions.admin.deviceId.v1 value is a device identifier used for account security and request continuity. When available, it may be derived from browser or device signals; otherwise Billions+ generates a random identifier. It remains in local storage until site data is cleared.
Session storage can remember that a pending-invitation prompt was skipped for the current tab and can prevent repeated reloads while recovering from an application update. Those values normally disappear when the tab or browser session closes.
Third-Party Services
When you choose a third-party sign-in, messaging, or payment service, Billions+ may redirect you to that provider or open its approved flow. The provider may use its own cookies or similar technologies on its domain under its own privacy and cookie terms.
Billions+ does not control cookies set on a third party’s website. The short-lived first-party OAuth cookies described above only protect and complete the flow you requested on Billions+.
No Advertising or Marketing Cookies
Billions+ does not currently use advertising or marketing cookies on its own services. The current applications also do not set optional web-analytics cookies. Server logs and security events used to operate and protect the Service are not advertising cookies.
Browser Do Not Track signals do not change the essential technologies described here because they are used for authentication, security, requested functionality, and delivery rather than cross-site advertising.
Your Choices
Most browsers let you review, block, or delete cookies and site storage. You can also clear stored values from the browser’s privacy or site-data settings. Blocking the essential cookies can prevent sign-in, secure account connection, or stable access during a deployment from working.
Clearing cookies or local storage can sign you out, reset the selected business and interface preferences, remove draft recovery, or require Billions+ to establish a new device identifier. Session-storage values normally clear when the tab closes.

The table describes the first-party technologies used by the current Billions+ applications. A connected third party may use its own technologies after you leave Billions+ or authorize an integration.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Billions+ changes its browser technologies, providers, or legal obligations. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when a change is material and notice is required.
