Customer story
Polycraft Studio
Polycraft Studio
A playful storefront for made-to-order 3D-printed gifts, designed around collectible product browsing, brand personality, and Messenger ordering.

Overview
Polycraft Studio sells small custom products: keychains, name tags, camera charms, license plates, and other made-to-order pieces. The storefront needed to make these tiny objects feel personal and collectible while keeping the ordering path simple for a business that already closes orders through chat.
The goal was not to turn Polycraft into a generic ecommerce shop. The business depends on customer taste, small customization decisions, and conversation before the final order is confirmed. The website therefore needed to create desire, explain the product world, and send prepared customers into Messenger with enough context for the owner to close the order quickly.
Operating Context
Polycraft customers are often buying gifts, personal accessories, or novelty items. They need examples before they can imagine what to request. Many of the products are small, colorful, and emotional, so the site must feel playful without becoming chaotic.
The owner still benefits from a chat-first ordering workflow. Messenger allows the customer to ask about names, colors, sizes, delivery timing, and one-off requests. A traditional cart and checkout would make the business look more mature on the surface, but it would add operational pressure that does not match how custom orders are actually handled.
Challenge
Small custom products can become hard to compare if the interface is too plain or too dense. The design needed to show product variety, preserve the playful brand mood, and make customers comfortable starting a custom request.
The harder challenge was conversion clarity. A customer should never wonder whether the business accepts custom requests, where to start, or what happens after they ask. The design also had to avoid overbuilding checkout where a message-based order path is more natural.
Design Direction
We chose a soft, friendly, collectible style. Rounded shapes, bright product imagery, pastel surfaces, and playful typography support the personality of the products. The site feels light and approachable, but the catalog structure keeps browsing practical.
The visual direction is intentionally more expressive than Billions+ itself because the client brand sells personality. The system still keeps enough structure for scanning: product groupings, repeatable detail sections, customer proof, and persistent Messenger actions.
Plan
The storefront focuses on product discovery, product cards, detail pages, brand story, customer reviews, guest identity, and Messenger as the primary ordering path. The implementation keeps the site static and fast while letting the owner continue handling custom requests through direct conversation.
The planned structure creates a simple path: discover product categories, inspect examples, understand that customization is available, read enough trust context, then start a Messenger order. That path supports the real sales motion instead of replacing it.
Design Decisions
1. Keep Messenger as the primary conversion point
Custom product orders need clarification. Keeping Messenger as the primary call to action reduces friction and lets the owner confirm the personal details that a rigid checkout would struggle to capture.
2. Make product browsing feel collectible
The catalog should feel like a set of personal objects, not a spreadsheet of SKUs. The design gives visual weight to product examples, categories, and brand moments so customers can imagine their own request.
3. Keep the site static and fast
Polycraft benefits more from speed, reliability, and low maintenance than from a complex backend. A static storefront gives the business a polished public surface without forcing a heavy operating model.
Problem Solved
The final direction makes custom products easier to understand and easier to request. Customers can browse examples, understand the product categories, and start a message with more confidence.
The owner gets a branded sales surface without a heavy checkout system that does not match the business model. The website increases trust and purchase intent while preserving the conversation-based workflow that makes custom orders manageable.
