Release notes

Billions+ Operating Foundation

The first Billions+ release established the operating foundation for AI-assisted commerce: AI selling, catalog management, order tracking, customer records, notifications, and dashboard analytics.

Released

Overview

Version 0.0.1 is the operating foundation for Billions+. The release is focused on the workflows a small business needs before deeper automation can be trusted: product data, customer memory, order records, sales assistance, follow-up, notifications, and visibility into what keeps moving when the owner is away.

This release is intentionally practical. It does not position Billions+ as a simple AI chatbot. It starts building the business operating system layer: the AI can only become useful when the surrounding business data is structured, visible, and controlled by the owner.

Added

AI Sales Agent

The AI Sales Agent is the first automation layer for customer conversations. It is designed to understand business context, use catalog information, support sales conversations, and connect future follow-up workflows back to real business data.

The initial release establishes the public feature surface for business knowledge, AI sales playbook, customer follow-up, and sales analytics as the long-term maturity path.

Product Management

Product Management gives owners a structured catalog workspace for names, prices, descriptions, images, categories, tags, and status. This creates the product source of truth that supports sales conversations, recommendations, order creation, and reporting.

The catalog includes search, filters, KPI cards, create and edit workflows, taxonomy support, bulk actions, sample data, and export workflows.

Order Management

Order Management gives the business a visible fulfillment workspace. Owners can track orders, inspect detail records, update status, review totals, export order data, and manage work that may originate from manual entry or AI-assisted conversations.

The release focuses on a practical commerce lifecycle so owners can understand what needs attention and what revenue has already moved forward.

Customer Management

Customer Management introduces a business-scoped customer directory with profile details, contact information, status controls, activity context, and merge handling.

This gives Billions+ a customer memory layer so future automation can respond with more context and owners can understand repeat customers without searching through old conversations.

Notifications

Notifications give owners a way to notice important business activity as it happens. The feature supports the operating-system goal by making changes, actions, and attention-worthy events visible instead of buried inside separate modules.

Dashboard Analytics

Dashboard Analytics introduces a home surface for operational visibility. Owners can scan key numbers, recent movement, and business activity without opening every module individually.

The first version focuses on directional clarity: what changed, what needs attention, and how sales operations are trending.

Improved

Portfolio Content Model

Feature, sub-feature, how-to, enterprise, and changelog content now share Markdown templates. This keeps the Pencil design system reusable while allowing each page to be generated from structured content later.

Notes

Storefront is intentionally excluded from this release content until that module is ready. The current focus is the core business operating foundation and the AI sales workflows that can sit on top of it.
